When you leave the car park, end your session by tapping 'Stop parking' - that way you're only charged for the minutes you park for!

Parkable has casual, long-term and private parking. Find the type you want by checking the map!
When you begin your first parking session, you'll be prompted to add your vehicle and credit card details.
If the app says that bays are unavailable, chances are they have been booked in advance or are rented out to someone paying for a long-term subscription.
Parkable is built on a trusted community of parkers and hosts, which depends on everyone starting a session when they park. Please always begin a session with Parkable before parking, and only park in available bays!
It sounds like the last time you had a session on Parkable, the payment didn’t go through. Make sure your card details are correct, your card is valid, and you have sufficient funds in your account.
Please note that if you have a failed payment and then start a new session, you will also be charged for the previous missing payment. This will show a double charge for the same day on your bank statement.

If your car is locked in a Parkable site, you can reach us for help at any time.
Please note: parking outside of available times puts you under the risk of being towed or fined. A call out fee applies for after-hours retrieval.
We’re sorry that this happened! You can report this problem through the Parkable app, which will redirect you to another bay number (if one is available).

This will also send a report directly to our on-the-ground enforcement team, so that they can take action immediately.
We use push notifications to communicate with you, for example by letting you know when your parking session has started or stopped. Notifications also make communication between us a lot quicker when you get in touch with us via the app!
A reservation allows you to book a parking spot for up to 30 minutes before you arrive at the car park.
Once 30 minutes has passed, a paid session will automatically begin for you - so if you change your mind about parking, remember to cancel your reservation!
To reserve a space, simply click on the park you want to use and hit the ‘Reserve’ button.
If you have a subscription park which you don’t use all the time, you have the option of ‘sharing’ your park with other Parkable users.
When your shared subscription park is parked in by someone else, you will receive a reduced fee for next term’s subscription. The discount is a portion of the fee(s) paid by the person or people who used your bay; the fee is split between yourself and the host, minus Parkable's margin. (The portion you receive depends on the host, so if you'd like to learn exactly what percentage you'll receive as a discount, get in touch!)
In short - sharing means a cheaper subscription fee for you next term, and more efficient use of your space!

PS: no one will be allowed to park in your bay unless you change your settings to ‘Share my bay’ on the app. The power is in your hands!
PPS: if you’ve turned on ‘Share my bay’, please don’t be surprised if someone does, in fact, park there! That’s what the sharing setting is for.
PPPS: if your bay is in a building that requires an access card, then sharing your bay unfortunately isn’t an option. Just this once you should go against what your parents taught you and do NOT share.
