Tap the green 'Start parking' button to begin a parking session, or tap 'Reserve bay' to book a park in advance at no extra cost.
Reserve a park
Plan your morning and commute with confidence by reserving a park for up to 30 minutes before you arrive.
Stop parking
When you leave the car park, end your session by tapping 'Stop parking' - that way you're only charged for the minutes you park for!
Report a problem
Has there been a problem at your park? Use the app to either report a problem or message Parkable directly for help.

FAQs
If the app says that bays are unavailable, chances are they have been booked in advance or are rented out to someone paying for a long-term subscription.
Parkable is built on a trusted community of parkers and hosts, which depends on everyone starting a session when they park. Please always begin a session with Parkable before parking, and only park in available bays!
It sounds like the last time you had a session on Parkable, the payment didnât go through. Make sure your card details are correct, your card is valid, and you have sufficient funds in your account.
Please note that if you have a failed payment and then start a new session, you will also be charged for the previous missing payment. This will show a double charge for the same day on your bank statement.
We donât like that any more than you do! If you have a specific request or an area you'd like us to look into, get it touch and weâll see what we can do.
If your car is locked in a Parkable site, you can reach us for help at any time.
Please note:Â parking outside of available times puts you under the risk of being towed or fined. A call out fee applies for after-hours retrieval.
Weâre sorry that this happened! You can report this problem through the Parkable app, which will redirect you to another bay number (if one is available).
To report the problem:
- Tap 'I have a problem' in the session screen
- Tap 'A vehicle is in my bay'
- Enter that vehicle's registration number
- The app will send you to another bay (if one is available)
This will also send a report directly to our on-the-ground enforcement team, so that they can take action immediately.
We use push notifications to communicate with you, for example by letting you know when your parking session has started or stopped. Notifications also make communication between us a lot quicker when you get in touch with us via the app!
A reservation allows you to book a parking spot for up to 30 minutes before you arrive at the car park.
Once 30 minutes has passed, a paid session will automatically begin for you - so if you change your mind about parking, remember to cancel your reservation!
To reserve a space, simply click on the park you want to use and hit the âReserveâ button.
If you have a subscription park which you donât use all the time, you have the option of âsharingâ your park with other Parkable users.
When your shared subscription park is parked in by someone else, you will receive a reduced fee for next termâs subscription. The discount is a portion of the fee(s) paid by the person or people who used your bay; the fee is split between yourself and the host, minus Parkable's margin. (The portion you receive depends on the host, so if you'd like to learn exactly what percentage you'll receive as a discount, get in touch!)
In short - sharing means a cheaper subscription fee for you next term, and more efficient use of your space!
To share your bay, check out our step-by-step how-to OR follow these instructions:
- Make sure you have downloaded the latest version of the Parkable app
- Sign into the app
- Tap on your subscription bay
- Change the slider from âIâm using my bay todayâ to âShare my bayâ
- If you want to share your bay on future days, go to âView detailsâ and select the dates to share
- If you want to share your bay way into the future, go to âView calendarâ, tap on the dates to share, and push âConfirmâ
PS: no one will be allowed to park in your bay unless you change your settings to âShare my bayâ on the app. The power is in your hands!
PPS: if youâve turned on âShare my bayâ, please donât be surprised if someone does, in fact, park there! Thatâs what the sharing setting is for.
PPPS: if your bay is in a building that requires an access card, then sharing your bay unfortunately isnât an option. Just this once you should go against what your parents taught you and do NOT share.
