Pushpay was acquired by US based investment firm Sixth Street in 2023.
Parkable CEO Toby Littin said: “We are incredibly proud to have attracted someone of Bruce’s track record as an investor and director and now as Chair of our Board”.
“His skills at scaling SaaS ventures and especially of breaking into the US market will be highly valuable to us as we emulate some of the successful businesses he has been so recently part of” added Littin.
Bruce Gordon said:”I’ve been a Parkable Board member for about 18 months now and I am highly impressed with the business and the management team and I am honoured to take on the Chair role.”
“The opportunity before us is significant and the team has built an offering that is now gaining impressive traction with customers in the US, Australia, New Zealand and the UK and I’m really looking forward to helping guide the next stage of growth” he said.
“We would like to thank David for his stewardship of the board to date”, said Littin.
“During his time as Chair we have grown from a start up with nine employees to an international scale up with staff in four markets and David has helped hugely with 3 capital raises and been a source of continual wisdom and support to me and all the team”.
David Brain said: “I can’t think of anyone I would be happier to hand over to than Bruce. He has been an incredible board member and made a huge impact already and I look forward to contributing to the next stage of Parkable’s development with him”.
Parkable, the New Zealand parking automation start-up has completed its Series B capital raise taking on a $10 million investment from Christopher & Banks (Pushpay investor Peter Huljich and associates).
