Do I need to have a site plan to have a map generated?
Existing site plans can easily be converted to a digital map inside Parkable. This includes architectural line drawings, technical site plans, and self-built spreadsheet maps. If you do not have a site plan, Parkable can facilitate the creation of a plan alongside your team.
What sorts of sites can be mapped?
If it exists in the real world, it can be mapped! This includes multi-level buildings and campuses as well as tandem and EV charging spaces.
How does my car park get turned into a map?
Our customer success team will work with you to get a visual representation of your car park. This will then be digitised by our mapping partner Engrain, and added to the Parkable admin panel where you can get started!
How much does the mapping add on cost?
This depends on which country you're in, whether you have a site plan already, and how many spaces are to be displayed on your map. There is a one-off setup fee as well as an ongoing monthly fee for hosting your map. Your Customer Success Manager can provide a quote.
Do I need to use Parkable for our tenant or workplace parking management to take advantage of the map?
No - the map can be used to simply replace your spreadsheet for a record of service and to make easy adjustments. If you do however want to invite users to Parkable, you'll get additional features and reporting. Talk to our team to learn more about how we can help.
Does mapping provide directions to parkers in the app?
At the moment, mapping is only visible to administrators. We are always improving our product and launching new features, so keep an eye out for announcements!
I'm an existing Parkable customer. How do I get mapping added to my plan?
