Parking access control
The gate opens for the right people. Automatically.
Connect every gate, door and barrier to Parkable. Works with your existing access system, or we supply the hardware - every open tied to a valid booking, permit, or invite.

Why it matters
The gate finally knows who's meant to be there.
Only the right people get in
The gate opens for a valid booking, permit, active session or visitor invite - and for nothing else. No more mystery fobs, remotes in gloveboxes or gates propped open.
Access comes and goes with the parking
When someone's parking starts, their access starts. When it ends, it ends - automatically, with a grace period to get out. Nobody has to remember to take anyone off a list.
Every open, on the record
Who opened which gate and when - logged automatically. When something looks off, you check the record - live and in real-time - instead of asking around.
What is parking access control?
Parking access control is how the entrance to your parking - the gate, barrier or roller door - decides who gets in.
Parkable connects the gate to the parking itself, checking every entry against a booking, a permit, an active session or a visitor invite. No fobs to hand out, no lists to maintain. When the parking ends, access ends with it - automatically.
Two ways in
Integrate or upgrade.
Most buildings don't need new hardware to get started - and any building can grow into the richest arrival experience on its own schedule.
Works with what you have
If your building already runs an access control system - Brivo, Gallagher, Integriti, Paxton, Avigilon Alta or 6S Global - Parkable connects to it directly. There's usually nothing to install: your gates show up in Parkable, the app becomes most people's key, and any card or RFID tag is registered in Parkable and linked to a permit or booking.
Usually, no new hardware needed
Your security system stays in charge of the building
RFID tags link to permits and bookings - no manual tag lists
Live in days, not months
Upgrade with Parkable
No access system on the gate? Parkable supplies and connects the gate controller. And when you want arrival to feel effortless, add cameras that read number plates (ANPR): drive up, the camera recognises the car, and the gate opens before you've wound the window down.
Gate controller supplied and connected by Parkable
Add number-plate cameras whenever you're ready
App and QR access included from day one
Simple to use. Simple to manage.

A key in every pocket
However your gate opens, everyone who's allowed in has a way in - parkers, visitors, even the public.
App button: One tap at the gate, with a location check so it only works on site.
Number plate: With ANPR, the number plate is the key: your plate + the right to park = instant access.
Visitor link: Sent with the booking. No app, no account - it opens right in the browser.
Resilient systems: If things go wrong, QR codes and Miles AI ensure nobody gets stuck at the gate.
- 02
Drive in. That's it.
Seamless, from gate to park: cameras read the number plate as the car approaches, match it to a valid booking or permit, and open the gate. Hands stay on the wheel, phones stay in pockets. And if a plate isn't recognised, the app and QR are right there as the fallback.
Hands-free both ways: Cameras cover entry and exit.
Built-in fallback: App and QR access always work alongside the cameras.
Works with your gates: No gate swap needed - the cameras work with what's already there.
- 03
Every gate, one place
The admin panel shows every gate on every site: online status, today's opens, and who came through. Open a gate remotely for a delivery, check why one opened at 9:41pm last night, and spot problems before anyone calls you.
Live status: Every gate and camera, online or not, at a glance.
Open history: Each open tied to a person and a valid parking activity.
Remote control: Open any gate from your desk - logged like everything else.
Getting started
From "what's on your gate?" to live.
- 01
Tell us what's on your gate
A photo of the gate and the name of your current access system - if you have one - is usually all we need to start.
- 02
We scope the setup
We connect to what you already have wherever we can, or scope what's missing. Either way, you'll know exactly what's involved before you commit.
- 03
Access runs itself
Bookings open gates, permits carry access, visitors arrive to a gate that's expecting them - and if anything snags, Miles AI can fix it before it reaches you.
Questions
Parking access control, answered.
Does Parkable work with our existing access control system?
Usually, yes. Parkable integrates directly with Brivo, Gallagher, Integriti (Inner Range), Paxton, Avigilon Alta and 6S Global - and the list keeps growing. If your system isn't on it, ask us: an integration is often still the fastest route.
Do our existing cards, fobs and RFID tags keep working?
You won't need most of them. For day-to-day access, the app replaces swipes and fobs. Where a tag still earns its place - a windscreen transponder, a shared vehicle - you register it in Parkable and link it to a permit or booking, so it only opens the gate while there's valid parking behind it. Either way, you stop managing tag access by hand.
Do we need to buy new hardware?
If your building already has an access control system, Parkable usually connects through software alone. If your gate has no controller, Parkable supplies one. Cameras are the one piece that always needs new hardware - they're the upgrade, not the entry ticket.
How do visitors get in without the app?
Their booking email includes a link that opens the gate from the browser, valid around their booking time. No app, no account. There's also a QR code on the gate sign that anyone with a phone camera can use.
Who actually opens the gate?
Your gate hardware does what it always did - the arm, the motor and the safety loop stay exactly as your installer set them up. Parkable makes the decision and tells your gate controller when to open. That's why installs are light: we're not rewiring the gate, we're connecting to it.
What happens if someone gets stuck at the gate?
That's Miles' job - Parkable's AI agent. It checks who they are and whether they have the right to park, opens the gate when they do, and logs what happened. No calling the building manager, no waiting for reception to pick up.
What is ANPR?
Automatic number plate recognition - cameras that read number plates. When a car pulls up, the camera reads the plate, Parkable checks it against valid bookings and permits, and opens the gate if there's a match.
What does it cost?
App, QR and visitor access are part of the Parkable platform - no per-open charges. Connecting to your existing access system sometimes involves an API fee from your access provider, and cameras or gate controllers are quoted per site. Tell us what's on your gate and we'll give you the full picture.
