Brisbane CBD is the central business hub of Queensland, popular for shopping on busy Queen Street and the riverside City Botanic Gardens. Historical points of interest include the Museum of Brisbane in Brisbane City Hall and the 1930s Clock Tower. On weekends, people visit for the waterfront cocktail bars and seafood dining around Eagle Street Pier.
If you’re driving to Brisbane’s CBD, there are a few options for parking.
There are various commercial car parks near Queen Street. You can park at the QueensPlaza Shopping Centre at $9 for an hour, $55 for five hours, and $65 for a day. At 179 Turbot Street there’s a Secure car park, which is $41 for an hour and $84 for a day, and there’s Wilson Parking at King George Central, $65 for three hours or $28 early bird.
There’s also Council parking in various areas of the Brisbane CBD, including at 136 Wickham Tce and King George Square Car Park. These tend to be expensive for short-term parking ($5 for 20 minutes and $18 for an hour) and more reasonable for a day at around $35 at the regular rate or about $20 early bird.
