Parking in South Brisbane

South Brisbane is a lively inner suburb of Queensland which sits on the South Bank of the Brisbane River. There are numerous places to visit in South Brisbane, including Queensland Maritime Museum, Streets Beach, the weekend Collective Markets, the Wheel of Brisbane, Musgrave Park, the Cultural Centre and the State Library of Queensland.

On Grey Street you can find a cinema complex, pubs, tapas bars and other casual dining options. Plus, from the South Brisbane Station you can take a train to Brisbane Airport, Cleveland, the Gold Coast, Shorncliffe and plenty of other locations.

If you’re driving into South Brisbane, there are a few options for parking.

There’s all day paid parking on Stanley Street at Queensland’s Cultural and Performing Arts Centres for $17, and on Merivale Street at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre for $16 early bird, and up to $35 for 24 hours. The Centre also offers monthly subscriptions for $320.

If you’re looking for free parking, parking at the Markets on 79 Boundary Street is free for the first 2 hours. There’s also Council parking at 15A Merivale Street and 17 Boundary Street, which is $2.20 per hour with a maximum stay time of 4 hours.
