Parkable opens the Carsales car park to all staff, integrates with access control and makes payment seamless

Before Covid-19, all of the onsite car parks at Carsales’ Melbourne office were full and allocated to executives. However, once a number of staff members left the company some parking spots sat empty, and there was no system for managing those unused parks.

Carsales wanted to share those vacant parks fairly among their staff in order to improve employee happiness, remove the sense of hierarchy in the car park, and stop parks from lying empty.

However, because Carsales’ car parks sit behind access control and they didn’t want all staff to have an access card, they needed a solution that would deliver seamless, secure access to the right people. They also needed a simple way to collect payment from staff using the car park.
