If your camera isn’t working, you can add the QR code manually. Just open the Parkable app, find the charging station on the map, and follow the prompts to park. When the camera scanner opens, tap the ‘Enter code’ button and type in the 7-character QR code manually.
If your car is locked in a Parkable site outside the park's available hours, you can reach us for help.
Please note: parking outside of available times puts you under the risk of being towed or fined. A call out fee applies for after-hours retrieval.
Every listing on Parkable goes through a QA process. Make sure your listing has clear instructions in the descriptions as well as clear pictures of where to park.

The cost of charging depends on the station. To check the price before you start a session, go into the Parkable app and open the location pin you’re interested in.
If you begin a free trial, the trial period is for 30 days from the day you create your account. After the 30 days your account will automatically move you on to the Medium Plan (our most popular plan).

When you add your credit card to your Parkable account, we'll put a hold on $1. We do this to authenticate the credit card and make sure that the card details are correct. We refund this as soon as your card is authenticated.
Tap the menu button and go to ‘Vouchers’. Add your voucher code - it will be automatically applied to your next charging or parking session(s).
Currently, you need to scan a QR code in order to see the EV charging option at each charger location. However, EV pins will appear on the map in the future!

The latest versions of Parkable also have a feature where every parking session is automatically ended after 12 hours, unless you tap to continue the session. Because of this, no session can run on for days and days - great news for those of us who are prone to forgetting these things!
Because of these safeguards, we don’t generally reverse charges if the session isn’t ended. However, if it was an app error which prevented the session from ending, get in touch. You can also send us a plea as a first-time user; chances are we'll be in a good mood and reverse your additional charges.

You guys rule! We support these kinds of initiatives fully. Any remuneration directed to your organisation can then be distributed by you to the charity of your choice, or simply provide the bank account number of your elected charity to us instead of your organisation's and have the remuneration transferred direct to them.

A reservation allows you to pre-book a bay, holding the space for 30 minutes at no cost. Once you arrive at the parking space, you still need to push ‘Start Parking’ as usual. To reserve a space, simply click on the park you want and hit the ‘Reserve’ button.
First give the app a few minutes to process the request. If you are still uncertain whether your session has ended, flick us a message on the app, or email us. We will then either confirm that your session has ended or end it for you on our side.
If you receive any additional charges due to an app error and our inability to respond immediately, don't worry! Just flick us a message or email and we'll make sure any extra charges are reversed.
Good news! If your staff currently transact with your payroll and admin staff to take a car park on a cash or salary-sacrifice arrangement, we have a solution for you! This sector of users can transact their monthly car park licence and payments across the Parkable for Business platform. Our Terms of Service cover everything you need from a legal perspective and Parkable for Business can process payments, distribute payables, and manage receivables for you. This service is covered under the Monthly SaaS Fee for each bay.
We don’t like that any more than you do! If you have a specific request or an area you'd like us to look into, get it touch and we’ll see what we can do.
Once you cancel a subscription you’ll still have the bay for one more full term (whether that is a week or a month depends on the terms of your subscription).
For example, if you have a weekly term which starts on Mondays and you cancel the subscription on a Wednesday, your subscription will end one week later, on the following Wednesday. As you would already have paid for most of this final week, you would be charged only for the remaining days (in this example, you would be charged for the final Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday). During this term you can use the park as usual.
Because of this, we recommend thinking ahead about when you would need to cancel the subscription.

It sounds like the last time you had a session on Parkable, the payment didn’t go through. Make sure your card details are correct, your card is valid, and you have sufficient funds in your account. If you’ve done this and still get an error message, get in touch and we’ll help you out!
Yes! You can switch between plans at any time and the switch will occur immediately, enabling total flexibility and scalability over your car park management.
